Moment: Shortly after I joined the band I was surprised
to be invited to play in the National Mineworkers Brass Band
concert in Blackpool. My excitement was short lived when I
was told I would in fact be the third percussionist, my initial
instructions were to play all bars marked for woodblock, triangle
and what appeared to be a huge gong type thing. This was soon
modified when it was discovered that my percussive abilities
were somewhat lacking. By the day of the contest my duties
had be reduced to two solitary bars on woodblock. I think
everyone there agreed that I put in a fine display on the
one bar. I managed to play in the heat of battle |

Moment: Picture the scene: In a very large nightclub in
Birmingham on a final farewell thing. I had had the obligatory
lots of lemonades and thought it might be an appropriate time
to show my breasts to my mates. Little did I know that I was
photographed...the image was projected onto the largest screen
I have ever seen and suddenly I felt myself getting a few
stares, looked up and yup my breasts there for all and sundry!!!NOT

Moment: when i met Robbie Fowler in a bar in leeds.
Picturethe scene: was a little intoxicated in a very trendy
bar and robbie fowler walks in. I say to my friend penny,
"lets go and say hello". so we pretend that it is
my 21st bday and go up to him. Robbie is surrounded by beautiful
women and champagne, but pen and i fight through the crowds,
and pen says in a rather cool way, "alright robbie, hows
its going?" robbie then replies "alright mate"
... so far so good. Pen then says "its my mate kim's
bday today" so robbie goes to me "happy bday mate"
i, in a rather drunk way forget how to speak and reply "happy,
happy, happy" topped off with a slight stutter. Pen then
drags me away, and from that moment on, i swore never to talk
to a famous person ever again.

hope everyone is well? in sydney at the moment and its freezing!
Loving it though, this city is great. seen a lot of the
bars though which is a bit worrying! Staying on a mates
sofa from home at the moment which is good cos Syndey is
v expensive so cut down on the spending money on rent!
the binoculars came up a right treat on sat. We went to
watch the Warathas
vs the Highlanders rugby match. Not known for my love of
rugby everyone was throughly supprised that i enjoyed the
game so much. Little did they know that i was using the
binouclars to stare at the men warming up!! Apperently there
was some great tries!!!
