Dave wants to do some film music at the Christmas concert - we will then project some clips from the film behind the band. The rationale behind this is to stop the audience from dozing off and to divert attention from the musical content smile
Seriously, we are looking for a piece of music, from a film, preferably a blockbuster that all ages will enjoy. Sorry Ian - I cant find a band arrangement for 'Debbie does Dallas'

Any help or suggestions appreciated....

Can't find anything for Nemo does Sushi either?

Hi Slats,
Glad to hear you are settling in and are well.
I love what you have done with the van, are you expecting aggro? If you want we can send the Bass players down to help you out, they are a dangerous looking lot. No, on second thoughts better not, Shrek would only get mixed up about the start time and venue!
Take care,
Steve.

Hi everyone,
finally moved into our new house (never again)(said that last time). Big thankyou to Ian and Phil for helping with the big stuff.
Read about the recording session, does this mean the CD will be out soon? Please let me know how I can get some copies when it does. Sorry to hear about the contest, better luck next time.
Bye for now.

Alan, lovely photos of last night's recording session - they really just remind me of a couple of auditions for "pop idol" or rather than the spice girls perhaps "old spice" !???

Well done yet again.

Hi everyone,

Tis me again. Sorry I have not been at band lately. Work you know.
Well done the band at Folkestone and a big chuck up for Sarah.
Karen and Steve, on the storey of your worms,I believe the vet sells a good cure. It comes in suppository form. You should manage OK steve.....so i've heard.
Good luck with the recording on Monday(20/10/03) I will see you all a week Monday.

PS. Have you noticed how many girlies the band is taking on board of late. Soon the guys will be totally out numbered. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

mick Sunday, 19 October 2003 09:48
i like "girlie" bands............i once tried to audition for Ivy benson !

Sarah Sunday, 19 October 2003 19:30
......careful - soon this band will start sounding like a "boys" band (if you reverse the normal expression)!! I think the front row are seriously threatened by us girls any males should really start thinking about a skirt and a wig!!

mick Sunday, 19 October 2003 20:53
beat you to it there......already got one packed in my instrument case.

Penfold Sunday, 19 October 2003 22:59
